DAUNTLESS GUILD

DAUNTLESS is an AOTC/KSM focused guild for busy adults looking for family-friendly Heroic raiding and Mythic+ Dungeons.

DAUNTLESS and its community is a long-term raiding group that has both experienced and new players. We focus heavily on maintaining a focus in casual/progression raiding while offering a fun and positive environment for all. We always strive to better ourselves as individuals and as a guild.

Real life takes precedence! We are players who juggle full-time jobs, college course loads, personal relationships, families and beyond. No ridicule or penalty will result from our members maintaining balance in their lives. Managed by players with over a decade of experience, DAUNTLESS is an actively moderated community. We’re committed to maintaining a culture that allows members to feel respected, included, and rewarded for their contributions.

Our mission is to work together to produce results. We achieve this success by openly communicating, building effective strategies, and sometimes just throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks! Our members are always invited to give their input respectfully and intelligently. Failing to produce results is part of the territory, we’ve all been there! We don’t want finger-pointing, brooding in passive-aggressive silence, or rage quitting. Our members should understand how to both give and receive constructive feedback, allowing our team to overcome obstacles effectively.

Beyond raiding and mythic+, we host fun activities such as PvP Nights and Achievement Runs, as well as playing some other games together during content lulls, such as Warcraft Classic, Diablo, League of Legends, MtG, and more. We provide our members with voice chat through Discord. Loaded with guild information, upcoming events, and an abundance of WoW memes, we highly encourage you to hop in and join the fun!

Membership:

Membership in the guild shall be available to players in compliance with the Guild rules. We are looking to create a cohesive, friendship-based guild and are actively looking for people who fit into our culture. To be invited to the guild and community you must speak with an officer or the GM. However, friends of current members can be invited by said members to begin a 2-week minimum trial before becoming a full member. Being invited does not automatically grant raiding invites and status, we have further rules and expectations that need to be met and reviewed regardless of previous raiding experience.

Privileges:

Privileges granted include guild bank access to items, pets, crafting mats, etc. All provided by the members of the guild, how you donate and what you donate is up to you (Gold, Mats, or BoE's). Guild repairs are granted to all with at least member rank. Access to discord channels and our guild community.

Basic Behavior Rules

1.Here in DAUNTLESS, our primary rule is that we want everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves while playing the game. As such, our cardinal rules concern behavior, first and foremost. Violating these rules will prompt a discussion with an officer; repeated violations can lead to removal from the guild.

2.All guild members regardless of rank are to be treated with respect and expected to be respectful and polite when dealing with other members of the community. Griefing, interfering with other players, and otherwise being a jerk is not permitted.

3.Humor is welcome! If someone is offended by a joke, apologize, and move on; if you're offended, state that and then move on. There's no need to go into depth on the matter.

4.It is strictly forbidden to stream any guild event without the authorization from the Raid Lead (if in raid) or your fellow guild mates (if not in raid).

5.The following topics are off-limits in general guild chat, bigotry, hate speech, sexism, homophobia, politics and religion.

Issues and Concerns:

First, be an adult. Try to realize people are different from you and have different personalities and views on life. Talk it out with that person. If that doesn’t work, the guild officers have an open-door policy when it comes to issues and concerns. Members should approach an officer with any issues and concerns if both parties are unable to reach an understanding. Transparency is encouraged from both officers and raiders. If there is a conflict between two members of the guild, the Officers (and/or Guild Master) will work with both parties to resolve the conflict. Parties involved in a dispute will need to cooperate as officers attempt to resolve such a conflict.

Which Officer should I talk to?

Officers are around to talk to! You are welcome to reach out to any officer that you feel most appropriate or comfortable with about other issues you may have. Keep us informed, be respectful, and together lets maintain a supportive and positive guild culture! Of course if you only feel okay about speaking up if you can be anonymous, there is the suggestion box!

Officers are appointed based upon experience, ability, and trustworthiness over time. While officers have authority over other guild members, they are not "superior" to other members and should not be considered as such. The officers are subject to the same rules as other members.

If you have a problem with one of the officers, please report it to another officer promptly. This includes situations wherein an officer makes you uncomfortable or appears to be violating the rules of the guild for any reason. We strive for transparency and accountability, but we don't always succeed; let us know if we make mistakes so we can correct them in the future.

Removal:

In the case of egregious violations (including but not limited to discriminatory remarks, sharing of personal information without express consent, or harassment) a player may be removed by the consensus of two officers or the GM. For other violations, the Officers will take an educational approach and notify the guild member of the rule they are violating.
